Street wear, and sneaker culture specifically, has had a huge influence on pop culture along with today's design trends across the board. I was inspired and intrigued and took this as an opportunity to create within these parameters. In creating these scope advertisements, I did some research on the history of the brands and what their countries of origin were. Fila was an Italian company later sold to a North Korean corporation. K-Pop culture is sweeping the scene internationally and so I wanted to incorporate some of that into the design- futuristic, impactful, though historically Italian. With Reebok remaining a British company through and through I also wanted that to be known. The key characteristics of this shoe are: the unique colors they come in, the puffed high top, and its British heritage. With that I went for a weightless and youthful look being sure to emphasize their Freestyle Hi color palette.
